OASIS Travel Network (OTN) has been in business since 2009 and is part of Palm Coast Travel, a 33-year old travel agency located in Boca Raton, Florida. Because of our substantial revenue and buying power we can offer you the highest commissions available.
What type of Travel Advisor is joining OASIS Travel Network?
OASIS is a fast paced and quickly growing company. We are looking for experienced Travel Advisors that want to grow their business and earn more money. We offer various continuing educational opportunities. All agents have access to Signature Travel Network University to expand their travel industry knowledge.
How much does it cost?
With our Build-A-Plan program, you control your costs based on your business needs. It’s the most value packed Travel Advisor Program available in the industry. You get to customize your plan to suit your business.
Do I have to change the way I do business?
You will continue to manage your business as you decide. You’ll provide our agency numbers as the booking credentials and commissions will be paid to you through OASIS Travel Network. You’ll have access to all of our tools to help you be efficient and successful.
Do I need Errors and Omissions insurance?
We highly recommend that your purchase E & O coverage to protect yourself.
Will I keep ownership of my clients?
Yes, as an independent contractor, you are self-employed and your client list remains yours. We keep this information strictly confidential.
What organizations is OTN a member of?
OASIS Travel Network is a member of ARC, ASTA, CLIA, IATAN, PATH, and Signature Travel Network.
Can I have brochures shipped to me?
Yes, you can order supplier brochures and have them shipped directly to your home or business address.
What are your support hours?
We are here to help Mon-Fri. from 10am to 6pm EST or via email anytime. We respond to emails within 24 hours or less.
Do you offer blocked space on cruise lines?
Yes, we offer 1000’s of sailings that you can book. Take advantage of special pricing and amenities for your clients with our group space.
Can I book air through OASIS?
Yes, we have a robust air program.
Do I have to book everything through OASIS ?
As an independent contractor you are not required to book through one agency. When you use OASIS credentials, you earn the industry’s highest commissions and our exclusive Chairman’s Club points. These valuable points earn you recognition trips and convert to dollars each year. The more you book through OASIS, the better your reward.
TRAINING
What training can I access?
OASIS Travel Network believes in continuing education to enhance your skills as a Travel Professional. As a member of the Signature Travel Network, we encourage you to utilize the extensive training modules and achieve the Signature Travel Expert designation. We also partners with suppliers to provide informative training webinars. These training programs are digital and can be accessed at your convenience, enabling you to learn and grow at your pace.
Live events highlighting education and networking with are also an important component of professional growth. We welcome our members to attend the Annual OASIS Travel Network conference. Additionally, the Signature Travel Network Conference held each year in Las Vegas is an exciting business development opportunity filled with classes, one on one engagement with suppliers and luxurious travel prizes. OTN members are invited to participate in this top industry event.
Does OASIS offer Fam trips?
Suppliers recognize the high quality professionalism of an OASIS Travel Network member. We are continually provided with Familiarization (FAM) trips for our members that meet supplier eligibility requirements. As a member of Signature, you are also eligible to apply for the Signature Educational Journeys. These are exceptional experiences throughout the globe, curated just for our members.
Does OASIS offer an IATAN card?
Yes. Once an OASIS member has achieved IATA’s requirements through our credentials, they may apply for an IATA card. IATA requires an agent affiliate must work a minimum of 20 hours per week and earn a minimum of $5000 in commissions annually to receive their card and benefits.
ACCOUNTING AND COMMISSIONS
How often do I get paid?
Earned commissions are paid weekly, every Friday.
When does my booking qualify for payment?
Typically commissions will be paid on the first pay date following the day of departure of your client. This, of course, depends on OASIS having received commission from the supplier. It is the member’s responsibility to follow up with the supplier if OASIS has not received the commission.
Can I charge service fees to my client?
Definitely! You may use our credit card merchant account to process any service charge provided you have the client’s permission. OASIS charges a 5% processing fee on all merchant charges.
How does OASIS track my commission?
When you make a reservation, you will report the sale in our reporting tool. Our accounting team will add your transaction to Clientbase CRM and accounting system. We do all the work for you, giving you more time to do what you do best, sell! You will be able to access your client information and reservations anytime, anywhere with this web based program.
Can I see my bookings and commission report?
Yes. You will have 24/7 access to Freedom (our intranet site), Clientbase (our CRM tool) as well as Commission Control (our sales and commission tool).
